What is the Crangonyx apalachee and why does it only exist in Lake Jackson?

We join Dr. Tom Sawicki with Florida A&M University's Groundwater Biodiversity Lab and his former graduate student, Andrew Cannizzaro, on a hunt to find a new species of amphipod endemic to Lake Jackson in Tallahassee, Florida. They've been discovering new species of amphipods and isopods- both of which are small crustaceans- all over Florida. https://wfsu.org/ecologyblog
