Paul Léger, an avid quilter from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, explained that quilting retreats for guy quilters aren’t very different than their female counterparts. The semi-annual retreats started in 2008 when a Yahoo group of male quilters got together in person. Since the first retreat the group has expanded from seven to more than 20, coming from across the U.S., and Canada, as well as Europe.
